Welcome to Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. 20 years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help theses struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process.  Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17,000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 70% of its members from outside the church. Eighty five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers. Celebrate Recovery is now in over 20,000 churches worldwide.

Welcome to Celebration Place

the Celebration Recovery companion program for children.

Children who come to Celebration Place range in age from 5-13. These children are from homes that have some kind of hurt, hang-up, or habit. They're also from homes where someone important to them has made a courageous step to begin the healing process at Celebrate Recovery.

What does that mean to the children that we are able to minister to at Celebration Place? they will be introduced in their homes-languages that include words like, denial, sponsor, inventory, and more. Kids are curious creatures so they'll be full of questions. Celebration Place will help them understand the language of recovery.

Without intervention, these kids could very easily repeat the hurts, hang-ups, and habits they've sen modeled at home.  Celebration Place is designed to equip kids with practical coping techniques, strategies, and values to help them overcome patterns.  John Baker, founder of Celebrate Recovery, says the Celebration Place dream is to put Celebrate Recovery out of business by breaking the cycles of dysfunction in our families.

Celebration Place is a 52 week program that mirrors Celebrate Recovery's one-year large group teaching schedule and curriculum plan. So when adults are talking about a topic such as action, kids are learning about the same topic at an age appropriate level.  Families benefit because they can talk about a topic when they go home.
